Lynette Hinman was one of the first group of artists to experience the studios at McColl Center for Visual Art in Charlotte. It was there that she began experimenting with the use of drawing and painting with roses to enhance her symbolic expression. Lynette has been thoughtfully observing and creating art since early childhood in an effort to understand and embrace life. She graduated from Ringling School of Art & Design with a concentration in painting and printmaking. During the 20 years that she's resided in Charlotte, Lynette has been teaching art full-time while continuing her own creative career. She has exhibited her art in the Southeastern US, New York, and France.
